In a Thursday panel presented by the Black Emotional and Mental Health Collective (BEAM), Pose actor Dyllón Burnside and BEAM founder Yolo Akili Robinson will address the mental health epidemic in the Black LGBTQ+ community. Some of those conversations include the importance of representation and “bringing awareness to health and mental wellness,” according to a press release. Phyll Opoku-Gyimah, the founder of UK Black Pride, wants to celebrate Black LGBTQ+ people.
